Looxent recently collaborated with a leading telecommunications technology service provider to develop a new business strategy, following the successful completion of a prior Value-Up diagnostic project.

The client primarily generates revenue through construction, maintenance, and engineering services for Korea’s largest telecommunications operator, with additional income from public and international markets. While the client has historically maintained stable performance through close collaboration with its main customer, recent changes in the operator’s supplier management strategy resulted in revenue declines and heightened long-term business uncertainty. To diversify its revenue streams and explore new growth opportunities, the client partnered with Looxent to develop and implement a robust new business initiative.

Unlike conventional new business development methodologies, this project focused on the client’s practical ability to execute within existing constraints. External resources or M&A options were deemed unfeasible due to the client’s operational realities, necessitating the utilization of in-house talent and technical capabilities.

Looxent balanced external market potential with internal feasibility, ensuring actionable outcomes. For each selected new business opportunity, the project team collaborated with the client’s operational staff to engage potential customers and conduct initial proposals during the project period.
